Hi, I’m Charu Parjapati, a Ph.D. student at IISc Bangalore, co-advised by Dr. Mohit Kumar Jolly and Dr. Sudha Kumari. I completed my B.E. in Biotechnology from UIET, Panjab University, Chandigarh, where I worked on a computational drug discovery project focused on identifying potential inhibitors using molecular docking and related in silico tools.
Through that experience, I developed an interest in applying mathematical and computational approaches to understand biological questions. During my Ph.D., I aim to learn mathematical modeling and explore the immunological aspects of cancer, particularly how immune cells and tumor cells interact within complex environments.
Apart from academics, I enjoy listening to music and going for walks in nature.
