Hello there! I am Harshavardhan BV, an incoming Ph.D student. I am a collaborative student between Dr. Mohit Kumar Jolly and Dr. Srimonta Gayen under the IMI programme. I have completed my BS-MS at IISER Pune, where I worked with Prof. Sutirth Dey in studying the effects of competition on adaptive therapy in prostate cancer.
I got intrigued by the application of mathematical and computational techniques to solve complex problems in biology. Currently, I am studying heterogeneity in cancer arising from allelic coordination and transcriptional bursting. However, I also wish to explore more aspects of cancer systems.
My hobbies include messing with computers and video games.
