I am an undergraduate physics major working in the lab on my bachelor’s thesis. I have developed a system of neural networks that can be used to characterize the topological properties of gene regulatory networks from their time-series data. I am currently benchmarking it against toggle switches and other two-gene systems and will use it to find novel properties of toggle triads and other gene networks with three or more genes. Machine learning and its applications interest me a lot, and in the future, I wish to work in the sub-domain of NLP or Machine Vision.
