Tanisha

I am a 5th Year Undergraduate at the Indian Institute of Science pursuing a Master’s Degree in Biology. I have completed my Bachelor of Science (Biology) from the same institute. My interests lie in utilising computational tools and methods to answer questions about cell biology in the context of various diseases, currently cancer. In the CSB Lab, I am working on understanding how the strength of the relationship between specific regulatory genes determines the epithelial, mesenchymal and hybrid epithelial/mesenchymal (E/M) phenotypes. Previously I have worked on cell signalling networks during Mtb infection and the mechanisms of invasion by SARS-CoV-2 proteins. My hobbies include badminton and reading. I love spending time outdoors, either hiking or trekking and am always open to any company.
