Atchuta Srinivas Duddu

I am a second year PhD student at the Center for BioSystems Science and Engineering (BSSE), working with Dr. Mohit Kumar Jolly. I have done my Bachelors in Instrumentation Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. I then did my Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering majoring in Medical Devices and Systems at the University of California San Diego. I like to learn about the various aspects of mathematics and engineering in a biological context. Currently, I am working on mathematical modeling of Gene Regulatory Networks. I am also an artist and practice illustration and sketching in conventional and digital media (@the_aviator_frames).

My PMRF Teaching requirement experience:

Jan-June 2021 – Online 3 day workshop titled, “Practical statistics and modelling for biological research” aimed for students pursuing or graduated from B.Sc Biology or B.Tech Biotechnology interested in biological research. It was conducted on the 25th, 26th and 27th of June 2021.

Jul-Dec 2021 – Online workshop tentatively scheduled around Dec 15th.
