The symposium focused on showcasing ongoing research using experimental and computational approaches to elucidate the mechanisms and implications of cancer cell plasticity and tumor–immune interplay in promoting tumor progression, metastasis, therapy resistance, and tumor relapse. The meeting aimed to facilitate the exchange of ideas, encourage discussion, and seed new potential collaborations across complementary approaches. To promote interaction, all speakers delivered 20-minute presentations followed by Q&A sessions.

The event was open to all, with free but mandatory registration. Students and post-doctoral fellows were encouraged to present their posters.

Speakers included:

Herbert Levine (Northeastern University, USA)
Jeffrey West (Moffitt Cancer Center, USA)
Thomas Hofer (DKFZ Heidelberg, Germany)
Anushka Dongre (Cornell University, USA)
Shamik Sen (IIT Bombay)
Bhavani Shankar (BARC Mumbai)
Sanjeev Shukla (IISER Bhopal)
Annapoorni Rangarajan (IISc Bangalore)
Mohit Kumar Jolly (IISc Bangalore)
