With sustained efforts from the faculty and students, the Annual BSSE symposium will be organized on January 19 and 21, 2023. The prime objective of the symposium is to acquaint the students and corporate fraternity worldwide to recent developments in bioengineering, particularly immunoengineering, systems biology, and biomedicine. The symposium will enhance the communication network within the research fraternity and also serve as a platform that provides a glimpse of the technological advances in these research areas in India through a series of plenary talks. The symposium will also conduct an ideathon event with an intent to encourage aspiring innovators in bioengineering.

Ideathon Competition (Jan 19, 2023)

Entrepreneurship and innovation are the driving forces that will steer the world into a brighter future. Great ideas, when nurtured, can pave the way for spectacular success. IDEATHON facilitates this vision by providing a platform for potential ideas to be translated to solve unmet needs in Indian healthcare system. The broad theme of the ideathon is Translational medicine. Ideas will be multidisciplinary in nature and should address a problem or need. The interactive mentoring session will mainly focus on ideation, innovation and implementation.
