Bharath S

Bharath S

bharaths2@iisc.ac.in

This person completed his Bachelor’s in Industrial Biotechnology, where he developed a fascination for using biology to understand complex systems and engineer solutions to real-world problems. Apparently, that was enough to convince him to pursue more of it. Outside academics, he enjoys badminton, cycling, running, football, swimming, and going to the gym, essentially anything that involves moving around. He is also known for taking his own sweet time with meals, firmly believing that food, much like life, should never be rushed.

 Neerav Sreekumar

Neerav Sreekumar

neeravsreek1@iisc.ac.in

Hey! I’m Neerav Sreekumar, and I hold a BTech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Tirupati. My research interests lie in the interplay between nanotechnology and medical engineering, particularly stimuli-responsive biomaterials, fabrication, nano/microrobotics, and DNA nanotechnology for neurodegenerative therapeutics, which has landed me at IISc. Outside the lab, I’m a die-hard FC Bayern Munich fan, with plenty of cinephile genes doing the talking too.

Thunga Suhys

Thunga Suhys

thungasuhys@iisc.ac.in

I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Biotechnology from NIT Raipur and am now exploring Engineering Biology, drawn to the opportunity to treat biological systems as a canvas for innovation, using computation as a powerful tool and mathematics as a framework to turn ideas into products that solve real world problems and have the potential to create lasting impact. Beyond academics, I’m a proud philomath with a habit of getting curious about just about everything. I enjoy movies, anime, mysteries, and science and have a tendency to follow a simple question down a rabbit hole that somehow never quite ends. I like connecting unlikely dots, challenging what seems obvious, and learning for the sheer thrill of figuring things out.
