Hello, I am Arijit Mondal. I have completed my BS-MS dual degree with a major in Biology from IISER Kolkata. My research involves developing a serology based tool for the detection of specific antibodies to more than 20 pathogens and determine the infection history of an individual with a single drop of blood. Apart from research and academics, my hobbies include swimming, listening to music and occasionally playing cricket.

I am a passionate bioengineer with a B.Tech. in Bioengineering, currently advancing the frontiers of mechanobiology. Working in a cutting-edge lab, my research focuses on ultrasound-mediated selective targeting and killing of cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs), contributing to the development of novel cancer therapies. Beyond research, I am an avid music enthusiast, taking long solitary journeys and a devoted reader of psychology, constantly exploring the intricate connections between science, sound, and the human mind.
